Viniculture and winemaking is of a great economic value for Armenia. During the last few years some revival is obvious in the branches of viniculture which is likely to be connected with market demand on winemaking and competition among the running enterprises. Currently one of the leaders among the domestic winemaking enterprises is "Vedi Alco" company which is aimed to make domestic high quality winemaking products which are able to compete with foreign products both in local and foreign markets, realize and popularize Armenian wines out of the boundaries of the republic. With its directed and fundamental policy the company contributes to the promotion of the winemaking branch. Due to the efforts of the company for the first time in the republic the manufacture of grain spirit and wheat vodka was based.
"Vedi Alco" company produces grain spirit, wheat and fruit vodka, high-quality red, white, dessert, rose wines, as well as dry, semisweet, sweet sparkling wines. The production released by the company has been awarded with 40 gold, silver and bronze medals and honorable diplomas at different international exhibitions and testing. High quality of the company's production depends on modern technologies, strict control of production process, use of high-quality wine stock, received from selected sorts of domestic grapes, as well as on professional experts.
