About it informed Gevorg Poghosyan, president of the Association of sociologists of Armenia in scientific conference “Armenia by the personalities of global calls” held in Yerevan. The data are based on the sociological investigations. In G. Poghosyan’s words, presently subscription for the newspapers is reduced for10 times. 7-8% of population reads newspapers; 10-12% listens to radio. As noticed the sociologist it is in the case if 150 names of published newspapers are available, there are not few television channels, and decades of radio stations. Meantime, he mentioned that in the whole territory of the republic there are only three television channels, the rest is in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. /Arminfo/
